I was watching this game and thinking what a great time it has been to be a Cubs fan over these last 10 years. Even before the Cubs pulled off this win, just seeing this team playing really good baseball yet again. It’s really been fun to watch. Those of you who are under 30 probably don’t have much memory of the ineptitude that had been the hallmark of the Cubs so much of the 100 years before that. Certainly the finish of this one just drove that home.
This was a day that just overloaded with Cubs storylines.
