The Bears made their first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday, selecting Notre Dame tight end Cole Kmet 43rd overall.
Kmet, a Lake Barrington native and St. Viator alumnus, seems to be a big Cubs fan.

In all seriousness, congrats to the 21-year-old on his big achievement. It must be pretty sweet to start his career playing for his home state team.
