What happened to Ben Wallace in just one full Chicago Bulls season

A former All-Star with the Detroit Pistons, big man Ben Wallace was a big signing for the Chicago Bulls back in 2006. He agreed to a four-year contract worth $60 million ahead of the 2006-07 NBA regular season with the Bulls. This was one of the biggest free agent signings that John Paxson ever had for the Bulls up to this day.

Signing Wallace was the type of move that Bulls fans had to get excited about. Landing with a team like the Bulls that usually carried a blue collar mentality of building from the ground up throughout the early-to-mid 2000’s looked like a great spot for Wallace.
