The Bulls and Billy Donovan will see OKC once preseason play begins

Just in case the strangeness of this upcoming Bulls season was in question, Friday was yet another reminder.

The NBA announced the shortened preseason schedule for the entire league, and it has the Bulls hosting the Houston Rockets on Dec. 11 and Dec. 13, and then off to the former stomping grounds of new head coach Billy Donovan, as the Bulls play in Oklahoma City on Dec. 16 and again two days later on Dec. 18.

Training camp is scheduled to start Dec. 1, while the regular season tips off Dec. 22.

If preseason work was wanted, the Bulls were one of the luckier recipients, with the league announcing that every team was given at least two preseason games – one home and one on the road – but no more than four.
