SportsTalk Live Podcast: Kap goes off on the Bulls' lack of performance

Sure, it’s easy to rationalize what happened Monday night as the confluence of the perfect storm.

Klay Thompson came to Chicago battling the worst long range shooting slump of his NBA career, but once he saw his first 4 shots fall, it was time to let the law of averages work in his favor. By the time he was done lighting up a disheartened Bulls’ team, Thompson had watched an NBA record 14 three pointers fly through the nets at the United Center. The Warriors set a handful of records for Bulls opponents in a 149-124 haymaker.

Now the challenge for the young Bulls is making sure it doesn’t happen again with the high-powered Denver Nuggets coming to town on Wednesday.
