While Dwyane Wade was speaking to reporters in the hallway of the Advocate Center, Benny the Bull rolled in through the front door on a hoverboard.
But New Benny wasn’t there for his own exit interview — he was there to see Bulls center and noted mascot terrorizer Robin Lopez and, more importantly, Lopez’s dog, Muppet, who was outfitted in a Bulls shirt.
Lopez cradled Muppet in his arms like a baby while he spoke about the Bulls’ up-and-down season. He didn’t have much to talk about with general manager Gar Forman and vice president John Paxson in his exit meeting.
