The LeBron James trade rumors got a little out of hand around the end of the 2018-19 regular season and on into the NBA Playoffs. The Chicago Bulls were also one of the teams mentioned among the places where LeBron could land if he was traded out from the Los Angeles Lakers organization.
Bleacher Report’s Ric Bucher mentioned that Lakers owner Jeanie Buss had a certain level of pressure to turn away from LeBron James if the unsuccessful tenure continued to mount. Bucher also mentioned in that piece that the Lakers wouldn’t get “as much as you think” in a return for a LeBron trade deal.
