Vanessa Bryant, the widow of Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, filed a wrongful death lawsuit Monday against the company that operated the helicopter that was carrying her husband and daughter Gianna when it crashed last month.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court claims pilot Ara Zobavan did not “use ordinary care in piloting the subject aircraft.” Zobavan also died in the crash.
Bryant is suing Island Express Helicopters and Island Express Holding Corp.
