Jimmy Butler may take 5-year deal with player option, per report

This would be a huge win.

There have been reports that Jimmy Butler doesn't want to sign a five-year max deal with the Bulls, but he's considering signing a five-year deal with a player option, according to Shams Charania of RealGM. Charania says Butler plans to sleep on the offer before making a decision on it.

KC followed up with this:

Butler seeking player option in any deal he signs. More open to 5-year deal if structured as such.

Needless to say, this would be a huge win for the Bulls.
