For well under 10 games down the stretch last season, Lemon Jr. excited Bulls fans with the offense spark he brought to the table as a pure bucket-getter.
There was a point at which head coach Jim Boylen was given a Bulls rotation that featured mostly G-League level talent. That’s when Boylen had Lemon Jr. as one of the regulars in his backcourt rotation. Granted that was also at a point when the Bulls were in a near full tank mode, and rightly so.
