Dwyane Wade joins Cavs, now it's a matter of figuring out his role

When LeBron James left Miami in 2014 and separated himself from Dwyane Wade, the two stars didn’t really discuss the idea of someday reuniting. Yet here they are, sooner than either could’ve realistically expected, side by side again chasing championships.
Wade finalized his contract with the Cavs Wednesday because James successfully fended off other interested parties, including good friend Carmelo Anthony, who was trying to recruit Wade to join him in Oklahoma City. If James was reinvigorated for this season before Wade’s arrival, he’s absolutely beaming now.
“This is going to be fun,” James said.
Cavs coach Tyronn Lue wasn’t ready Wednesday – or permitted by league rules – to discuss Wade’s role on this team.
