As it stands, it feels as if the Josh Giddey free agency saga will never come to an end. To kick off free agency, the Chicago Bulls reportedly offered the 6-foot-8 guard a four-year, $80 million contract, to which he rebuffed.
Giddey has been persistent in asking for roughly $30 million per annum—a number that hasn't fluctuated dating back to the beginning of last season. It's been well-documented that the 22-year-old has his sights set on emulating Orlando Magic's Jalen Suggs' contract. For reference, Suggs signed a five-year, $150.5 million pact last October.
Nonetheless, Suggs isn't the only young point guard whose contract is worth duplicating.
