Counterpoint as Bulls pivot from Patrick Beverley for Jevon Carter

Out with Patrick Beverley and in with Jevon Carter, but are the Bulls going to be better for it, especially in late-game situations.

The 14-9 record wasn’t a coincidence.

Definitely not in the mind of the always confident Patrick Beverley, but also the minds of his teammates.

Before the former Marshall High standout returned home shortly after the February trade deadline, the Bulls were dead in the water in the Eastern Conference playoff race, looking lifeless and void of any fight.

All Beverley did was flip the switch to that 14-9 finish, as well as a first-round play-in win over Toronto, before being eliminated by the Miami Heat.
