Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Clippers Takeaways: Horrific Cold Spell In Second Half

The big takeaway from last night’s Bulls-Clippers takedown? Uh.. It was nice to see Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant hanging court side together, I guess. A reminder of better times. Chicago (now 31-31) had a nice first half, leading the Los Angeles Clippers (now 37-25) by 61-55 entering the break.

In the third quarter, Chicago made just three field goals (on 17 attempts!), tying a season-low for points scored in a quarter, with 12, and produced a whopping six turnovers; as Los Angeles began to pull away, closing out the period on a 10-0 run that really set the tone for the fourth quarter.
