Many people were wondering why Chandler Hutchison chose to pull out of the NBA Draft combine. According to Aran Smith of NBADraft.net, there were rumors that Hutchison pulled out of the combine because of a promise from a specific team that they would take him in the first round. The team that promised to select him was reportedly the Chicago Bulls with the 22nd overall pick.
If this is true, it likely means that the Bulls would be selecting a big man with the 7th overall pick. I’m assuming Mo Bamba is their dream scenario but he’s unlikely to fall to #7.
