The Chicago Bulls made a trade that seemed fine a little more than two years ago to part ways with the biggest star they had at the time. A trade that laid the groundwork for this Bulls rebuild, which is currently in its third season, was one that involved sending this franchise’s former superstar small forward Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves for a haul of younger budding talents.
A lot of shakeups happened around the NBA since the Bulls dealt “Jimmy G. Buckets” to the Timberwolves back in the summer of 2017. Nearly 40 percent of all rostered players in the NBA turned over just last offseason alone.
