Chicago Bulls: Grading the safe Daniel Gafford pick

The Chicago Bulls followed their stellar first-round pick with another quality pick in the second round. They selected big man Daniel Gafford to help bolster their thin frontcourt rotation.

Gafford averaged 16.9 points per game on an efficient 66% shooting from the field to go along with 8.7 rebounds and two blocks during his sophomore season at Arkansas. Those are numbers that Bulls fans can be excited about.

There are definitely areas in Gafford’s game that need improvement (outside shooting being the biggest one), but he’s a high upside, athletic, shot-blocking center that will provide immediate depth to the Bulls’ frontcourt.
