Chicago Bulls: Bulls Acquire Carmelo Anthony, Cash from Houston

Former perennial All-Star Carmelo Anthony played only 10 games in Houston this season, after being traded from Oklahoma City to Atlanta and being waived by the Hawks. Anthony, in his short stint in Houston, averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting just over 40% in 29 minutes per contest. Anthony only recorded two starts for the Rockets, serving mostly a bench role on the team, and has now made his way to the Chicago Bulls

Anthony was removed from the rotation some time ago, as the team clearly felt that his services were no longer needed, as Houston has been diligently searching for a trade partner for Melo for quite a while.
