Contract: one season, minimum
This s a bargain contract, there is no doubt about it. Aaron Brooks is one of the better small scoring guards in the NBA who can start if needed and as the Chicago Bulls needed a second point guard, getting Brooks for the minimum is excellent. Going into the offseason I thought that besides re-signing Jimmy Butler their biggest need was getting another point guard, somebody young that could grow with their core, but with Jerian Grant and Delon Wright taken 19th and 20th, the Bulls made the right choice drafting Bobby Portis 22nd, although Tyus Jones was a better fit.
