This is the year that this Chicago Bulls rebuild could finally make that leap to playoff contention in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls contending for the playoffs doesn’t mean that they could win an NBA Championship but they could find themselves in the seven or eight seed when it’s all said and done.
Nevertheless, that would be a big step forward to take for this franchise in the upcoming campaign. Just because the Bulls make the playoffs doesn’t mean that the upward trend in the East won’t continue for the next two or three years. Making the playoffs this season would likely take at least 38-40 wins since the East is generally worse and not as deep as the Western Conference.
