Heading into the 2019-20 season, Chicago Bulls fans had their hopes up — and for good reason. Zach LaVine looked like a guy poised for an All-Star season. Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter Jr. were looking ready to take big steps forward. Otto Porter Jr. looked like the wing the Bulls needed. Tomas Satoransky was ready to provide a strong veteran presence at the point guard position. Thaddeus Young and Coby White were ready to lead the bench unit.
What’s not to love about that? That looks like an Eastern Conference playoff team, right?
