The Cleveland Cavaliers apologized Thursday afternoon for an insensitive video displayed during the Cavs-Bulls Game 2 contest Wednesday night.

The Cavs apparently played a video on the Jumbotron that featured a Cavs fan throwing his girlfriend over the couch in a botched "Dirty Dancing" skit once he found out she was wearing a Bulls shirt.

With all the domestic violence issues swirling around sports, the Cavs apologized for the lack of common sense after backlash on social media:

"While the video was not intended to be offensive, it was a mistake to include content that made light of domestic violence," the Cavaliers said in a statement.
