NEW ORLEANS – Alex Caruso might want to start loading up on the protein bars.
On Sunday, it was matching up with the double-wall oven in high tops that is Zion Williamson. All 6-foot-6, 284 pounds of him, and that’s with a forgiving scale.
On Wednesday, it could be Cleveland’s 6-11 Evan Mobley, unless Bulls coach Billy Donovan wants to roll out the jumbo lineup.
And then on Friday, Caruso meet Giannis Antetokounmpo.
With Patrick Williams being ruled out for the remainder of the season because of left foot surgery, this is life for the Bulls right now, or at least until Torrey Craig eventually recovers from a right knee sprain.
