The Bulls' Saturday night meeting in Dallas felt like a schedule loss from the start after a draining win over the Thunder on Christmas. Instead, the Bulls turned in one of their better offensive efforts of the year and hung with the Mavericks all night. The game came down to the final five minutes, where a confounding lack of execution cost the Bulls a winnable game.
