Bulls Talk Podcast: The NBA season has been suspended indefinitely

The NBA regular season originally was scheduled to end April 15. Now, the earliest any game may be played is April 10---and even that scenario is unknown or perhaps even a longshot.

That’s the gist of NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s remarks from his Thursday appearance on TNT’s “Inside the NBA,” roughly 24 hours after he suspended the season indefinitely after Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19 virus.

On Thursday, Gobert’s teammate, Donovan Mitchell, revealed on his Instagram account that he also had tested positive.

“The NBA community is not immune,” Silver said. “It’s going to spread throughout our community.
