The Bulls are continuing to take their time with guard Coby White’s recovery from a calf strain he suffered in August before training camp.
Coach Billy Donovan said that White is doing the start-and-stop movements that gave him some initial discomfort. Donovan said White is running, sprinting, cutting and jumping. The training staff wants to make sure White is doing those movements for an extended period after the flare-up in October.
He’s trying to do everything full speed. Tyrese Haliburton and Damian Lillard each dealt with calf injuries before returning and suffering more severe injuries shortly thereafter.
