The playoffs aren't entirely out of the question for the Chicago Bulls this season in what projects to be a down Eastern Conference, which may lead the front office to make yet another decision that won't sit well with fans: Be buyers at the trade deadline rather than sellers.
Most NBA logic would go against making that call. The team hasn't made the playoffs since 2021-22 and is retooling a roster that's seen the exits of Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine and Alex Caruso in the last year. Nikola Vucevic may be on his way out any day.
