The expectations for guard Coby White this summer were big.
Those have now obviously been tempered.
The team announced on Thursday that White underwent surgery on his left shoulder by Dr. Brian Cole to repair damage from an injury the second-year player sustained over the weekend while engaged in basketball activities away from the team.
The plan is for White to be re-evaluated in four months, and then a better timetable will be put in place.
