The news on Torrey Craig and his right foot injury wasn’t good, as the key veteran reserve could be sidelined for several months.

Bulls rookie forward Julian Phillips and second-year wing Dalen Terry had better be ready to pick up some extra minutes.

The team announced Tuesday that veteran reserve forward Torrey Craig has an acute sprain of his right plantar fascia — a more significant injury to his right foot than initially hoped.

Craig’s recovery will involve the foot being immobilized for about four weeks, followed by an additional four to six weeks of rehab.
