Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr. is off crutches but still on the shelf

Otto Porter Jr. knows something about slow starts to a season.

He went through one last year with Washington, and stumbled out of the gate for the Bulls this season.

But something was starting to click for the veteran forward.

There was the 22-point game against Detroit last weekend, an 18-point showing in the Lakers loss, and then a day later was lighting up the Hawks for 13 points in his first 12 minutes of action. Then the left foot betrayed him, and just like that he was out of the game, and still out of action on Saturday.
