Bulls championship banners pulled down after damage from concert

There’s plenty around the United Center that disgruntled Bulls fans would want removed but the six championship banners weren’t on the list.

A few players, maybe some members of the front office, but not the banners.

Unfortunately, it was announced that all six of the banners were removed from the rafters for the remainder of the season, damaged during a Disturbed concert.

The heavy metal band, which was coincidentally from Chicago, did use some pyrotechnics during the show, and it was believed that the heat damaged the bottom halves of the banners. None of the other banners or retired numbers were affected.
