CHARLOTTE – There will be a time when Zach LaVine will actually sit down and go through the details of the dramatic changes the NBA is proposing to the regular-season schedule, as well as the playoff seedings.
Like maybe when the Bulls guard is part of a team actually going to the playoffs.
“I want to get to the playoffs before I even start to … I just want to taste it,’’ LaVine said on Saturday, as he was laughing. “[The changes don’t] matter. At this point, just let me get in there.’’
So while LaVine was putting all talk about sweeping changes coming to the Association on hold for now, a majority of the league doesn’t have that luxury.
