Bulls announce that Adam Amin will replace retired announcer Neil Funk

More than four decades on the mic.

The voice of the team for five of its six Michael Jordan-led titles.

Neil Funk was a broadcasting legend.

When he made it public back in 2019 that this would be his last go-around as the Bulls play-by-play announcer, it was obviously huge shoes to fill.

Chicago native Adam Amin, 33, will make an attempt to do just that.

The organization made the Amin hiring official on Monday, with the former ESPN broadcaster now the new television voice of the Bulls.

“We knew replacing Neil would not be an easy task, but as we got to know Adam over the last two seasons and became even more familiar with his work, he rose to become our top choice,’’ team president and COO Michael Reinsdorf said in a statement.
