Patrick Sharp, currently in his second year as a broadcaster for NBC Sports and NBC Sports Chicago, garnered high praise for his work as an analyst from former teammates back in January.
Patrick Kane pointed to Sharp's conversational style, while Jonathan Toews acknowledged his poise and passion. But with the recent leadership changes within the Blackhawks organization (John McDonough, team president since 2007, being fired and Daniel Wirtz serving as the interim president), another comment from Kane seems a bit more interesting now.
“I thought maybe he'd be trying to get in with the team somewhere, whether it was scouting or trying to get into the front office," Kane told NBC Sports Chicago.
