Patrick Kane had never reached the 100-point mark in a single season before this year. He accomplished that feat on Sunday.
The 27-year-old Blackhawks All-Star added four more points to his league-leading total of 100, which came on his third goal of the game in the second period against the Boston Bruins.
He's the first Blackhawks player to hit 100 points since Jeremy Roenick, who tallied 107 points during the 1993-94 campaign.
Kane is seeking to become the first American-born player to win the Hart Trophy for league MVP and Art Ross Trophy for most points in a season, and perhaps he locked up both awards after Sunday's performance.
