Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Trevor Daley left the team's game against the Winnipeg Jets after suffering a potentially significant injury Sunday night. Daley collided with the Jets' Chris Thorburn in the defensive zone midway through the second period and needed help to be carried off the ice and into the locker room.
Daley was skating in transition when he tripped and appeared to lower his shoulders just before the collision with Thorburn, which may have put his head into the path of the Jets forward.
