The Blackhawks have one move left to make to wrap up a quiet offseason

The free agent market quickly dried up, and that meant the Chicago Blackhawks were unable to make any splash moves.

Therefore, acquiring Andre Burakovsky and Sam Lafferty via trade and re-signing Ryan Donato are the biggest moves the front office has made.

It is unlikely that general manager Kyle Davidson pulls off a headline-grabbing trade.

Now that goalie Arvid Soderblom has avoided arbitration, Davidson has one move left to make.

Re-signing defenseman Wyatt Kaiser

While it would be great for the Hawks to extend All-Star Connor Bedard and emerging star Frank Nazar, it sounds like both forwards would prefer to sign their second contracts later in the season.
