Blackhawks general manager Stan Bowman believes his star goaltender Corey Crawford will play again after suffering his second known concussion in less than a year.
Bowman told Scott Powers of The Athletic on Sunday night that “if he’s medically cleared to play, then he’ll play.”
Crawford missed 47 games last season with a concussion that occurred in December 2017. He didn’t make his season debut until Oct. 18, 2018.
The Blackhawks placed Crawford on injured reserve Dec. 17, 2018, after sustaining a concussion the night before following a collision in the crease.
