Spencer Knight has proven to be one of the Chicago Blackhawks' premier additions. He's the clear-cut number one goaltender in the Windy City, with 21 starts this season, a 10-6-5 record, a 0.916 save percentage, a 2.50 GAA, a 0.571 quality starts percentage, and two shutouts. Those are epic numbers, but Knight's latest shutout win put him in a rare club that includes just four Blackhawks goaltenders.
Following Chicago's win on Wednesday night, Bruce Miles of NHL.com reported, "Knight became the fifth Blackhawks goalie in the modern era (since 1943-44) to have multiple shutouts in a season at age 24 or younger.
