Rockford IceHogs’ winning streak ends at 4 games in 5-2 loss to Milwaukee Admirals

The Milwaukee Admirals scored two goals in each of the first two periods en route to a 5-2 victory to end the Rockford IceHogs’ winning streak at four games Saturday at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Laurent Dauphin, a former IceHog, and Josh Wilkins both had two assists for Milwaukee (19-4-1-2), which improved to 10-1 in its last 11 games. Lukas Craggas scored his first AHL goal, and Steven Santini, Tommy Novak, Mathieu Olivier and Anthony Richard also tallied goals. Troy Grosenick made 33 saves.

Brandon Hagel and Philipp Kurashev scored for Rockford (13-9-0-1). Kevin Lankinen made 29 saves in his first start since he re-assigned to the AHL following an emergency call up.
