Jacob Nilsson scored 16 seconds into overtime to cap the Rockford IceHogs’ 3-2 comeback win over the San Antonio Rampage on Sunday at AT&T Center.
Rookie Adam Boqvist had two assists, and Tyler Sikura and Dylan Sikura each scored for Rockford (9-7-0-1), which won its third overtime game this season. Matt Tomkins made 21 saves in his first start since Nov. 10 to improve to 3-1 this season.
Ryan Olsen and Derrick Pouliot both scored in the first period for San Antonio (8-6-4-2) to take a 2-0 lead.
