Jason Robertson and Joel L’Esperance scored in a shootout to help the Texas Stars snap a 12-game skid with a 7-6 win over the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday at H-E-B Center in Cedar Park, Texas.
Robertson had two goals and an assist in regulation, and L’Esperance had a goal and an assist for Texas (4-13-0-2). Nicholas Caamano and Michael Mersch had a goal and two assists apiece, and Landon Bow made 30 saves.
John Quenneville scored two goals, and Alexandre Fortin, Tyler Sikura and Anton Wedin each had a goal and an assist for Rockford (8-7-0-1), which has lost two of its last three.
