Penalty kill giving Blackhawks confidence after killing 14 straight against Vegas

The Blackhawks had a historically bad penalty kill last season. No, really: They had the worst percentage (72.7) of any team in the last 30 years.

But the Blackhawks made significant strides in that department this season, finishing tied for eighth with a 82.1 percent success rate.

While the power play remains a work in progress in the postseason, the Blackhawks' penalty kill picked up right where they left off in the regular season. They are now 14-for-14 in their first-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights after killing off all three penalties in Sunday's 3-1 Game 4 win.
