Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane won the 2015-16 Ted Lindsay Award as the NHL's most outstanding player, the league announced Wednesday at the 2016 NHL Awards at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
The award is voted on by fellow members of the NHL Players Association.
Kane, 27, led the league in scoring with 106 points, the most since Evgeni Malkin recorded 109 in 2011-12. He's the first Chicago player to accomplish that feat since Stan Mikita in 1967-68.
Kane's 46 goals and 60 assists are NHL career-bests.
