As he enters his age-38 season, Nick Foligno is doing far more than wearing the "C" for the Chicago Blackhawks; he's embodying it.
In addition to maintaining a steady on-ice impact year-over-year despite a reduced role, Foligno continues to lead by example – whether he's delivering hits, blocking shots or mentoring the next generation of Blackhawks. He has embraced a shifting role with minimal complaint, reinforcing the team's culture through action.
At age 37, Foligno played in 78 games for the Blackhawks last season, tallying 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points and an average ice time of about 15:55 per game.
