Five years ago, Fire supporters hosted a 15th anniversary party to celebrate the first decade-and-a-half of the club’s existence. The event was held at the Chicago History Museum and hosted by fans that formed a planning committee in conjunction with Section 8 Chicago and the Independent Supporters Association. The celebration featured attendance by former and current players, coaches, staff, and Chicago soccer legends such as Chicago Sting owner Lee Stern.
Those who attended the 15th anniversary party were able to mingle and reminisce with most of the individuals responsible for crafting the success of the club since its inception in 1997.
