Former Blackhawks All-Star Ron 'Chico' Maki dies at 76

Ron "Chico" Maki, a former three-time All-Star with the Blackhawks, died Monday at the age of 76.

Maki spent parts of 15 seasons from 1960-76 playing for the Blackhawks, where he won a Stanley Cup as a rookie despite appearing in just one playoff game.

A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Maki registered 143 goals and 292 assists in 841 regular-season contests. His best seasons came in 1965-66, where he recorded 17 goals and 31 assists, and 1970-71, where he scored a career-high 22 goals and 26 assists.

Maki also compiled 53 points (17 goals and 36 assists) in 113 postseason games.
