Former Blackhawk Joakim Nordstrom, Bruins to play Blues in Stanley Cup Final

Chicago hockey fans have more than just distain for the Blues as a reason to root for the Bruins to win the Stanley Cup.

Two Bruins players and their head coach have ties to Chicago.

After being drafted by the Blackhawks in the third round in the 2010 NHL draft, winger Joakim Nordstrom split time between the AHL and NHL and even was the Rockford IceHogs captain during the 2014-15 season. He played 38 NHL games that season, including three in playoffs, and was part of the team that won the Stanley Cup in 2015.
