Dominik Kubalik scores twice in Blackhawks 5-3 preseason loss to Red Wings

Dominik Kubalik scored two goals in the Blackhawks 5-3 preseason loss to the Red Wings in the first game of a home-and-home Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Philip Holm had a goal and assisted on Kubalik’s second goal on the power play in the second period.

Michael Rasmussen scored the game-winning goal for Detroit on the power play with less than five minutes remaining in the game. Luke Glendening added an empty-net goal with one minute remaining.

Matt Puempel, Matthew Ford, Chris Terry also scored for the Red Wings.
