Ryan Hartman has been moved to the Nashville Predators, and now the Chicago Blackhawks have shipped Tommy Wingels to the Boston Bruins.
This deal was announced shortly after the 3 p.m. Eastern time trade deadline had come and gone, but it was entered to the league in time to qualify.
The Blackhawks were sellers this season, as they should have been. They got rid of two pieces that could be deemed useful by some other teams, and they managed to get a nice little haul for them.
In the Wingels deal, general manager Stan Bowman added a fifth-round draft choice in this year’s event.
